What about update reminders? For me it's a vital thing. Right now there's no way to notice customers about updates of files they purchased.

I agree, it's very important. My idea about it is to allow you send an email to all buyers that their file has been updated, it will compare file modified date vs purchase date.

How does that look as a concept?

That's exactly what's needed.

1. Upload new file.
2. Change update notice (if needed).
3. Click Notify button to inform customers about update.

Using Joomla 3 on this build. Setting up a site for a music composer. He wants to sell his music scores as pdf's, but wants people to be able to pick and choose and then make one purchase with a cart. Seems reasonable ;O)
