TOPIC: Protect uploads folder from access

Regarind the problem, please make a file called .htaccess in the uploads folder

It's content should be:
deny from all

Are you using the default folder or not?

I will check on the installation package this evening and issue update if necessery. I will also make sure when the folder is changed, a new .htaccess file is created.

I'm using custom folder, but no .htaccess in default one as well. Looks like something's missing in installation.

you can see all my files

That's correct. Strangely all my tests went well when I tested the htaccess feature after installation. May be some permission issue? What is the Joomla version?
