TOPIC: download limit not working

Hi Deian,

this might be it, I started downloads simultaneously, file is about 80MB large.

Let's assume I started 10 simultaneous downloads, what happened if the first 3 are completed? Will the other 7 be continued or stopped?

How could I solve this?

Hi again,

I did a sequential download of my 80MB file - and downloaded it fully to the last byte more than 5 times by now - despite downloads limited to three.

Moreover, in the order-section in quick sell backend, it doesn't display those downloads, but still keeps a 0 with that order.

What can I do?

Are you sure second time you tested you were logged out as admin?

Hi Michi,

I believe I found the problem.

The mysql server is shutting down the thread because the file takes too long to download. This problem is called "mysql server gone away".

The fix would be to do the download count in the beginning of the download process. If you can raise my permissions on the site I can do a fix for this.
