I would like to use your component in an existing LMS we have do students can download load the text portion, but limit the number of times they may print. Your component seems to say it can do that, however the students will have purchased the course before they can access content, so we would need your component to do that without the need to take a payment, is that possible?

Yes you can do that with a 0 price set, keep in mind you must use actual "0" please don't leave the price field empty :).
