TOPIC: thank you page shows up in the WordPress menu

I have several Word Press pages about the book which are listed in a menu of pages in a widget in the sidebar. I noticed my thank you page shows up in that list. I tried making the thank you page private, and when I did people got error messages instead of being able to read the thank you page and download the book. Is there any way to have the menu display but not show the thank you page to the general public?

It's showing in the menu because probably on that location there is no menu setup and wordpress automatically lists pages?

That is a bad practice paypal does it by default to help users see the pages they create, but it's not recommended to stay this way.

I would recommend you simply create a menu for that location and assign only the pages you want to show there.

Thanks - you were right, it was a menu widget that automatically lists all pages, and it was easy to fix.
