TOPIC: Buy now button and direct link problem

Hi,
I want to offer free eBooks download in exchange of a newsletter signup.
I created a couple of eBooks with price = 0 and "Allow free download" checked.
If I use the Order form shortcode everything works fine [ebook_store_buy ebook_id="17765"]

But if I try to use the "Buy now" shortcode, the signup form is displayed, you can fill it out and are redirected to the thank you page but details are not captured either in the eBook Store order details or Mailchimp. In fact, the thank you page says "Thank you anonymous user"
